About Brooke
Kia ora, I'm Brooke! After a 15 year career in marketing, spanning industries including sport, hospitality and corporate communications, I made the decision to launch my own agency and in 2022, Laufey Creative was born. My sister, Ashleigh, also owns a Gin Boutique (The Juniper Collective) of which I am the Marketing Director.
I'm a born and bred Cantabrian who has lived in various parts of NZ, but am now settled in Ĺtautahi with my fur babies, Loki and Billie. I also spend a lot of time at our family bach on the West Coast and look forward to growing my business across the Main Divide.
Experience
Alongside the position of Marketing Director for The Juniper Collective and freelancing as B Digital Marketing, my most recent role was Marketing Manager at Canterbury Rugby where I oversaw the marketing, digital communications and events for community, representative and professional rugby. Prior to that I worked for the Crusaders, having launched, grown and managed all their digital marketing, communications and advertising.
I have additional experience in sales, account management, sponsorship leverage + activation, event management, communications, graphic design, website design, content creation, video production, media + social media training, and athlete management. I have worked for and with sporting organisations, NGO's, charities, local SME's, government organisations and council-owned entities.
I graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (majoring in Management and Commercial Law) followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport Management from Massey University.
